  17.  @DuZori  The thing is, water has the highest heat capacity, it can absorb lots of heat without changing its temperature, and the Black Sea is full of it. I believe these drone are based on jet skis - which have a petrol engine. A fibreglass cover can hide the engine, and the exhaust can be pumped into the sea to cool it and hide it. (Just because a thing can be done, doesn't mean they remembered to do it.) So perhaps these drones won't stand out like heat-beacons in the sea. The might look more like a seal having a wee.

  18.  @DuZori  I think the flying kamikaze drones are quite expensive, and once you launch one, it can't return home; it has to find a target, or crash into the sea.
