  3. Destroying houses with bombs is a waste of houses, bombs and money. Making bomb craters is providing the enemy with places of safety - doing their diging for them. Fights only happen between those able and willing to fight. The goal then is to remove the enemies willingness/ability to fight. Massive barrages are not only very expensive, but they encourage the enemy to stay away. The further away the enemy, the more difficult and expensive it is, to attack them.

  7. Both sides use drones. You'd not only have to find and chase a drone, you'd have to identify it (friend or foe), and then, hitting a small, moving object with small objects (bullets) is very tricky.

  8. The test is boots on the ground. If the Ukr are there, they control that place. If the Rus are, they they control it. If neither side is there, it's grey zone.
