You've made the false assumption that he has learned everything he is capable of learning. Are you incapable of learning anything more? A slightly better question would be "why is it that I have learned X, and he hasn't?" That's easily answered: he is not you. He does not know what you know; he has not seen what you have seen; he did not meet who you met; and vice versa. While you were learning four languages, he was learning other things. Perhaps he learned to play the piano, or make cheese on toast. This is not an advanced concept; toddlers learn about the difference between "self" and "others" around the age of three. Can you play the violin? I can't. Anyone can learn though - it just takes practise; about 10,000 hours. How long did you spend learning four languages? How long did you spend learning to reason?
