Then the British pushed the Germans back across libya, and up through Tunisia to Tunis. The British, Germans and Italians all retreat.

  21.  @YouKnowItMang  It's very unfair to judge the French by "the Great Retreat 1914", which was an Anglo-French retreat at the very start of WWI. The Germans had achieved operational surprise; the British and French had no defensive lines. The Germans set out on Aug 4th, so it was remarkable that the British and French had managed to arrive and engage them on the 7th.
