  2.  @KSmithwick1989  There are lots of military roles for women; admin, medical, police, intelligence, communications, etc, and AH also had women in his military services. The issue is about women in fighting. There's no particular advantage in using women in those roles, and I doubt many were. Perhaps some volunteered. I believe the number of people in uniform were; British Empire 18.5 million, Germany 19 million, and Russia 55 million.
