  3. So long as the West has Odessa, there will be no peace in Crimea. Otoh, the prospect of taking Odessa is formidible; they may have to destroy it.

  4. By attacking Crimea and the Black Sea Fleet, the West is making it an imperative that Russia takes, or destroys Odessa. As usual, the West never considers the consequences of their actions - they just want to inflict pain.
