  2.  @Freedomfred939  A crime is the breaking of a law. Laws are founded on sovereignty (my house, my rules). Nations cannot bind each-other with laws because that goes beyond the limits of sovereignty. Rules for the conduct of war are made by treaty (I won't bomb cities if you wont.) If one side breaks the treaty, the other side ceases to be bound by it - or else the transgressor would have an advantage.When Germany bombed London, they gave Britain full licence to bomb German cities. That's all there is to it.

  6. International law is established through treaties - it is contract law, ie each side is bound only so long as the other side is bound. When Germany bombed London it freed Britain from any obligation to restraint from bombing German cities. Hence, the bombing of Dresden by Britain was not a war crime. (USA can't say the same - Germany didn't bomb any US cities.)

To make your ludicrous claim, you are ignoring most of WWII; the defeat of Axis forces in North Africa, the liberation of Sicily, and France - which made the Dresden attack possible - and Belgium, and Luxembourg, and you're ignoring the far larger bombing campaigns against other German cities; Cologne, Essen, Hamburg, Frankfurt, etc. That's an astonishing level of ignorance!
