I may be wrong, but I think the Soviets had an army in the East to guard against Japan - in which case the Soviets weren't fully committed, either. Edit - ah, you got that point, too.

You can easily spot a Marxist- when they've got no argument, they claim your pov is "debunked", the claim the question is "settled".

The battle of Stalingrad alone involved some 2 million men (adding both sides). Same thing at Kursk - and they're just short sections of the Russian Front.

The question is "were the Germans massively outnumbered?" For that purpose, the Finns count because they were fighting the Soviets, too.
