  3. "98.5% of the countries in the world ..." is appeal to irrelevant evidence.  TIK is not speaking to countries - countries can't talk - and have no interest in history. TIK is speaking to PEOPLE. TIK is speaking English, hence he is speaking to an audience that understands English. That is not 98.5% of either the countries, or the people of the world. "Use standard units of measurement" The mile IS a standard unit of measurement. It's no harder to understand a mile than a km. A km is 6/10 of a mile.
