The trouble is, they don't know how to do that. They check sources. Buttar calls himself "Dr", Thunderfoot doesn't, therefore Buttar is the superior source. Buttar wins. But that's neither here nor there. The big problem is, having made themselves the authority on who is right, **no-one can tell them they're wrong** ! They are the authority - they decide who is wrong! YouTube have assumed the divine power of infallibility - they are so ignorant, so vacuous, they think they're gods!

  3. Fair point, well said. Otoh, there's also the problems of a) people not doing what they're qualified to do, and b) people doing what they're not qualified to do. (YouTube and Wikipedia acting as arbiters of truth is an example of b.)
