  1. "Tax and spend" - the same policy the left has been using for 60 years. Prices go up, unions go on strike, companies close, unemployment goes up, misery and poverty increases and the people call on the government to help. The government loves to help. It increases spending, and how does it pay for that? Increased taxes. And so the spiral of decline continues.
