I would find out if there is a free local program that helps people prepare for GED. These people are kind and helpful. When I was in school,I couldn't do math and had to get extra help every week from teachers,tutors,friends. I put the extra time in and I passed each math class to graduate. I'm still not good at math,but I got past it. I hope you go check out your local programs. Even just going once to see what it's like. There are a lot programs that will help people train to work in a trade. That is really needed since the older people working in trades are retiring. Community colleges are affordable. Volunteering in programs like Habitat for Humanity is a great way to explore interests,learn skills, while helping people in need. Best of luck to you,my friend.
