@Gearing-s8q We didn’t have logistics to hold that area. It was so far away and hard to resupply. We also didn’t want to send a large amount of ships and materials there because they can easily be intercepted and easy targets out there.

Great video, completely agree with everything you said regarding Germany’s motivation to fight. But I disagree with your view on the soviet will to fight. Yea there were battalions of Estonians, Latvians, Finns and Ukrainians that fought against the USSR, but these groups of people have always wanted to break free from Russia. The majority of ethnic Russians, belorussians and East Ukrainians fought till the bitter end because they knew the Nazis were fighting a war of annihilation. They saw what Oksar Dirlwanger did to innocent civilians, they saw what the Wehrmacht did to the civilians of Leningrad, so the Russians fought till the bitter end with unwavering determination. The Nazis viewed the Slavic people of east Europe as sub human and wanted to annihilate some of their populations. Russia has never allowed a foreign power to occupy it, they kicked out Napoleon, expelled Kaiser Wilhelm’s armies and they bashed the head of the Wehrmacht in too

Austria was justified. The Sudetenland was partially justified, because of the Munich agreement. The invasion of Czechia and Poland was not justified. Hitler was a meth head who had imperial goals in Europe, he wrote about this in mein kampf and gave many speeches

I agree, the Soviets would have steamrolled all through Europe as their army they mobilized in 1940 was an offensive red army. The Soviets wanted the whole world from the Russian taiga to the English Channel to all be socialist. However, Hitler also was a driven by ideological racial ideals. He wrote about it himself in mein kampf talking about how Eastern Europe including Belarus, Ukraine and parts of Russia itself should all be made habitable suitable living grounds for German people and the inferior Slavic races should have their populations reduced, be made into slaves or pushed beyond the urals. Hitler and Stalin were both monsters driven by insane visions and radical ideologies

@Centurio_1 Have you ever read Mein Kampf ? Hitler wrote it himself. Have you ever heard of generalplan ost ? Have you read about the reprisals the Nazis committed in Belarus, general Poland, chasiv yar, etc

@Foxarium Their navy was not effective. They were practicable bullied in the Mediterranean and North Africa by the British and French navies who forced the Italian navy close to their mainland. Italy used battleships without screens and did not understand how to support successful naval invasions, horrible. Also, the second Italy switched sides Germany sunk their best ships within mere hours… that just shows they were sitting ducks.

You do bring up many good points, but it’s no surprise the USA is pro allies, of course we are. Britain and France along with the Democratic states like Poland and Czechoslovakia were our allies coming out of World War 1. This tries to make the Americans look bad, but it is interesting how you never allude to or mention how German Nazis seized American intentional banks in Germany as early as 1933, how they used uboats to sink American ships, ran spy rings inside the United States as well as occupying neutral western countries like the Netherlands and Norway. Hitlers planes bombed the shit of the Rotterdam, the Luftwaffe flattened the historic city killing thousands of civilians and targeting irreplaceable architecture. The Netherlands was neutral and the Germans invaded just to they can expand their reich as well as get a quicker invasion route to France, that is a policy built on madness. Why did Dutch people have to die ? They wanted no part in the war and proclaimed neutrality just like in WW1. America was pro allies, yea of course that’s obvious and Hitler declaring war on US in 41 basically shot himself in the foot earlier

Well it was done through the blood of millions. I see your point, but soviet Russia also industrialized and by 1937 the Soviets had eradicated every problem the tsardom faced in 1916. The Soviets industrialized through Stalin’s five year plans, it was bloody forced industrialization. Same thing with the Nazis rise to power, they had plans of genocide which were very well documented

Yep, Hitler was a meth head who rambled nonsense saying America would fold like a deck of cards and Russia would fall in weeks. Completely delusional
