@RabblesTheBinx Compared to the USA we are pretty good I think. The problem is as other people have said, a single billionaire controlling most of the media. This is the same guy that owns fox news to let you know, so considering that I would say we have done surprisingly well. As for your “be skeptical of the media” argument, that is a hard message to get to the people who only read/watch murdoch media.

@matejkubala7221 , I would argue that the reason we haven’t had world war three is because it wouldn’t be profitable for anyone. Nukes may have kept things calm in the twentieth century but the world has moved on from hostile land grabs. If you invaded Wall Street you wouldn’t be rich, you’d be an idiot, wealth is no longer geographically bound and thanks to the internet the most valuable commodity-information-is more or less equally accessible from everywhere. Most militaries nowadays are “defence” forces for a reason. They aren’t really there to invade anyone, just preserve the status quo.
