Comments by "gerhard7" (@gerhard7323) on "USA 'on the brink of war?': Robert Fox warns 'we should be very concerned' of conflict escalation" video.
We're told condescendingly that the Houthis would be nothing without Iran's support so where does that leave Israel in relation to the USA?

The US has 750 military bases and counting in 80 countries. This is a personal tragedy for those involved but seriously what were these Americans even doing there so obviously in harms way?

@amataratsu006-xs6hv Tried to, but reply removed by YT sadly. Note to self. Stop using boring old facts. YT hates them.

You noticed that too? Not sure if it's GB news or YT up to no good or both, but either way this thread and this channel is very obviously being 'curated'.

@garyorourke4524 A number of my comments have simply disappeared. All factual. All verifiable. All apparently unpalatable.

@amataratsu006-xs6hv Shilling on an industrial scale for the now collapsed Greensill Capital for UK taxpayer support and his part, amongst others, in the destruction of Libya. He refused to give evidence to the select committee for the UK's role in the bombing blaming the Libyan people for failing to take their chance of democracy. Even Saint Obama called the western role in Libya 'a sh*show'. And the UK wonders why it has an illegal immigration problem.

Fourteen replies and only 9 actually showing. What gives YT?

Put it this way, they're probably about as legal as the Israeli settlements in the West Bank.😊
2
They're deleting stuff left right and centre and then re-instating some stuff just to add to the confusion.

@hmu05366 The ME is fiercely divided at the best of times along ethnic, national and religious lines without our 'help'. We are where we are because we have sought to meddle far too much for far too long in the affairs of the ME. I'm a realist. I get the reasons why we do. International trade, shipping lanes, oil and geopolitics basically but, again, we are where we are precisely because we have played the divide and rule card for far too long helping to ruin country after country and immiserate generation after generation under the entirely false premise of spreading democracy and promoting western 'values'. A west ceasing to meddle wouldn't solve all the problems in the ME and nor would 'Arabs' all suddenly unite in one big happy family - Iranians aren't Arabs btw - but I believe that a serious change of diplomatic tack is needed and long overdue.

@Matt-jk1kr All true. Said much the same thing, but mysteriously my reply has not appeared.

Yep. Some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Bizarre really.

@amataratsu006-xs6hv Reply removed by YT but look up Cameron's role in Libya and Greensill Capital.

@amataratsu006-xs6hv Neither GB News nor YT will permit me to tell you despite trying twice I'm afraid.

The Trump years were allegedly the time the world all stared into the fiery abyss and where fascism and the threat of global chaos and war abounded. Fast forward four years and THAT'S exactly what Biden, the supposed adult in the room and antedote to Trump, delivered. What we're witnessing is cognitive dissonance on steroids, ladies and gentlemen.

Somebody on here loves deleting comments. It's either YT or the host themselves but I think I might give GB News a miss for a bit.

Yeah, I think he actually didn't say that. He was actually saying that these claims shouldn't be actively and completely suppressed as all it was effectively doing was feeding the growing 'conspiracy'. Forbidden fruit principle. What he was actually doing was following journalism best practice whereby sunlight is the best disinfectant not the darkness you seem to be advocating.

Trump will be an interesting one. He's certainly in thrall to the Israel lobby like Biden but I believe that there's something in his DNA that is fundamentally opposed to these needless neocon forever wars and the continual toll they take on ordinary Americans. Perhaps I'm overly optimistic or just desperate to see an end to all this, but he's not only America's best hope in 2024 he's their only hope.

@michaellitten4538 Glad you managed to get that comment through. Mine never made it that far.

@kevinsenior8155 Certainly have done in the past but there's a marked shift since MBS came to power. The bond hasn't broken, but it is under severe strain.

@richardgallagher4880 You obviously know me better than I know myself.
