MLK cornered the market on this definition years ago... content of someone's character etc How much melanin you have in your skin has got f*ck all to do with the price of fish. There are good people and there are bad people and lots in between, but if society actively allows you to constantly weaponise your skin shade then it's often just another in for bad actors, splitters and race grifters. Bombshell, but most people in the UK seriously aren't 'racist'. Most have far more real and pressing everyday concerns, but having this endless identitarian sh*t constantly pushed down their throats doesn't help. Lots of people from across so-called 'racial divide' are rightly concerned about the affects of unchecked mass immigration and that is a perfectly acceptable POV, particularly if they're the ones constantly and directly on the sharp end of its downsides. Let's, please, have a more grown up nuanced debate about this rather than forever reducing it to the colour of someone's skin.

That, by today's UK standards, would be considered racism. Racism with no penalty however. Many might airily dismiss it as a social and cultural more in the circumstances. Funny that. I had a Sikh girlfriend many years ago and she would never have told her father about me because I was 'white'. This illustrates that of course racism exists, will always exist it and is, I think by definition demonstrably wrong and should always be challenged wherever it exists, but to effectively 'institutionalise' and 'weaponise' it as we are apparently doing and have us all running around as if it's a modern day Salem witch hunt is utterly insane and, I believe, to all our detriment.
