@H4CK61 Tax avoidance is not tax evasion. Everyone and anyone tries to mitigate the tax they have to pay to the state and Benn was no different. I'm sure you wouldn't be either. He did not act improperly ie he acted within the law and that's nevermind the widely held, wilfully misleading mistaken belief that our collected taxes somehow directly go to pay for things. They don't. Wishing to see a fairer more distributive tax system as Benn once did whilst in office is not the same thing. If he can be criticised for anything it is that he left literally everything in his fortune to his family and bugger all to the various causes he supported throughout his life.
