  1. Yet again LH is the voice of sanity in the relative wilderness. Raising interest rates wasn't just about raising the cost of borrowing and putting an end to the artificially low interest rates designed to keep asset prices perennially attractive amongst other things, it was also about stopping banks trying to offset their risks by buying long-term government debt with p*ss poor returns. Debt many are now being forced to sell at a substantial loss with these sudden large-scale long overdue central bank interest rises. There are people out there who are paid a darn sight more handsomely than LH to know about and foresee these risks surely so WTF have they been up to?
