  1. The Spanish flu killed 40m plus. It killed huge amounts of younger people, men in particularly. The future generation's seed. Many immuno-compromised servicemen returning from war, criss-crossing the world's oceans and unwittingly aiding its spread. In some senses it was a perfect storm. The one thing that is always forgotten about the Spanish Flu, however, is that it occurred in pre-antibiotic days and many millions of those who died actually died from secondary bacterial lung infections that would subsequently have been treated with antibiotics. Spanish flu expedited that research. Covid 19 ain't no Spanish Flu contender and never was. In the UK the average age of a COVID 'related' death has remained more or less steady at 82 around the same as the average life expectancy. What a complete and utter sh*tstorm🤐😩
