  1. If they can rebuild the Cutty Sark from little more than a Swan Vesta then I'm sure it can be done, but just because you can it doesn't mean you should. Our vainglorious politicians (and public figures) are always looking for pet projects like this to be associated with, but wouldn't it be nice if rather than p*ssing time, effort and money away on things like this they actually improved the lots of everyday people. It's not a simple either or, but let's not be under any illusions here. This is a vanity project.
