  2. I used to be scared for the future of US democracy, but now I'm as if not more scared for my own country's, the UK's. People need to comprehend that what Sunak did was completely unprecedented with that speech after Galloway's democratic election and came hot on the heels of the supposedly completely impartial Speaker of parliament pulling off an equally unprecedented move overturning a long understood convention regarding a vote on Gaza.

  3. Yep, which is why they're using every technical twist and turn they can to deny it is actually genocide. Once it's confirmed and widely accepted beyond any reasonable doubt they have nowhere to hide in terms of their complicity. They know this.

  9. The UK, crucially, doesn't have a constitution that protects free speech and that's why it's arbitrary. A lot of the Americans whose free speech is being curtailed are of course having it actively suppressed, particularly by Big Tech, but they're not necessarily subject to arbitrary criminal prosecution as they might be in the UK.

  10. Galloway has supported the Palestinian cause, just as he did the anti-apartheid in South Africa, for decades. Counting both Arafat and Mandela as personal friends. He also, quite correctly as it turned out, condemned the illegal invasions of Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Libya amongst others. And yet you say he is 'a conman'? A man whose judgement not only isn't to be trusted compared to his apparently fine upstanding contemporaries but who has also spent his entire career conning the gullible with his endless lies? But one voice, albeit a mighty powerful one, who bullied literally thousands of Muslims in Rochdale into voting for him this week. Is that correct?

  13. It's not and nor should it be all or nothing. There will have to be, eventually, a negotiated settlement. Be it one state or two state. Israel with a truly independent nuclear deterrent is not going anywhere. The big question now is what shape will it and a future Palestine take?
