  1. Compounding interest only works for a relative few IF you have the disposable income to make the continued 'investment'. If increasingly fewer and fewer people do, effectively as a matter of established political and economic policy, then they are not in a position to do so. What's so difficult to understand about that?

  4. This commonly believed, simplistic narrative also helps to explain credit expansion, austerity, wage suppression, tax cuts for the rich, financialization, deindustrialization, outsourcing, colonialism, neocolonialism and likely much more besides.
