  2. The hierarchical societal response to covid simply followed nature's laws. The worker bees, who do by far most of the essential work to maintain the colony, are more numerous and therefore far more easily expendable. Seizing upon examples of some of said worker bees for not acting responsibly throughout and putting the colony at risk was just an added bonus for some of the cooped up more precious judgmental drones.
