  1. Much as it pains me to say it this is day that I fell out of unqualified love with Douglas Murray. For someone on a show that actively promotes free thinking, intellectual curiousity and not swallowing the media narrative whole it's clear that both presenter and guest here believe that that approach should only go so far ie as far as they think it should. Douglas Murray knows next to bugger all about Ukraine for example and the events that led up to it, but nevertheless feels totally assured that his opinion on the subject is the correct and only one and one all right thinking people should share. Right or wrong, in effect he's become a contradiction of himself. I'll still enjoy his offerings in future, but I won't give them anywhere near the credibility I would have done in the past.
