@sandilengcobo7904 So, on that basis, you no longer really consider it worthy of having an opinion on anything once you reach say 45? Does a 7 year old's opinion carry more weight than a 15 year old's would you say?

Apparently, according to some commenting here, middle aged white men have no right to be talking about this subject matter entitled 'Class > Identity'. Revealing in itself. The fact is more chronically indebted members of the younger generation ARE increasingly rejecting the 'progressive' ever more nonsensical neverending escalatory victim card game of intersectionality once everyday reality bites for them. The harsh reality that being 'woke' won't protect them from being permanently 'broke'. It is, at its heart, an elitist divisive luxury value ostensibly spawned, propagated and monetized by a small group of individuals often with pernicious outcomes for those unfortunate enough to find themselves on the wrong side of its evershifting treacherous sands. Why, again, should two men who happen to be middle aged and white who might wish to discuss and explore that idea be precluded from doing so?

Wokism, much like 'climate change', is another luxury value co-opted by the elites designed to quietly oppress the proles. If both your government AND your global corporations are constantly banging on about them and you're not ever asking yourself why then you're just another useful idiot.

'Wokeism' is just another way for the so-called liberal elites to undermine the working classes and continue to divide and rule. I'm not at all surprised to see some of those commenting here seeking to defend it refusing to see how insidious it has been, not least those of whom have probably done rather well out it themselves.

And yet, weirdly, it's our 'lefty progressive' governments and our 'lefty progressive' global corporations who seem to be at the forefront of advancing this alleged 'progression' in social justice. It is apparently vast swathes of right wing reactionary voters who are out of step with their progressive elites and who are standing in the way to this egalitarian utopia? How do you propose we square that circle?

The harsh reality that being 'woke' won't protect them from is being 'broke'. It is an elitist luxury value ostensibly spawned and monetized by millennials often with pernicious outcomes. Why should two middle aged white men who might wish to discuss and explore that idea be precluded from doing so?
