Mis and disinformation now, much like the law, is a subjective NOT an objective thing by design. 'They' CAN'T' define it, not least because some of the biggest propagators are actually government and corporates, and thus 'they' GET to define it as and when it suits. Funny that.

It, in itself, was the product of widespread European anti-Semitism and was seen as their 'solution'. An expedient solution foisted upon the hapless people of Palestine. I thoroughly recommend reading the Montagu Letter from the Jewish archive written in 1917 just months after the Balfour Declaration.
