Much the same reasons the US invaded Iraq, bombed Libya, occupied Afghanistan for two decades, supports Israel without any questions asked, continues to destabilise Syria, desperately wants war with Iran, spent years provoking a war in Ukraine and is attempting to weaken and break up Russia. Apologies to anyone I might have left out there. If America can't have what it wants, it'll damn well make sure that no one else can.

  3. 'Opposition leader' Machado has been linked to three coups in Venezuela and is funded by the Washington based neocon vehicle 'NGO' the National Endowment for Democracy and USAID. It's got to the point now where even if this election was rigged by Maduro, and I hope it wasn't, the US has openly spent over 2 decades now trying to effect regime change in the country against the express wishes of the Venezuelan people.
