  3. In all honesty it's the American Right wing Evangelical Christian's perceived religious links with Israel that's the most scary. At least there's a geopolitical rationale, however obscene, to the idea that the US regards Israel as some sort of vital colonial outpost in the mostly hostile oil rich ME.
