  1. In a way this would be a logical outcome of capitalism taken to its zenith. Capitalism, though largely successful in its own way, has proven incredibly effective at monetising even the most unsavoury aspects of our live thus far, so why the hell not secretly create an extremely profitable solution in advance of a secretly manufactured problem? Great PR and great profits. Potentially, anyway. All the better if said problem is deemed to be by many life-threatening. Not least by the fearful governments seeking election that represent and 'protect' them and that will stump up handsomely for the only known 'cure'. Genius really. Would never happen though, of course.....
