  1. The US rebuffed Putin's noughties overtures to join NATO once it realised it would be the slippery slope to it losing its hegemonic control over Europe to Russia. I suspect that Putin knew this before he asked, but it helped prove a point. NATO isn't a broadbased defensive military alliance it is, principally, an aggressive military alliance and tool of US hegemony which needs a Russia forever in its cross hairs in order to justify its continued existence.

  2. Worth mentioning that Trump was initially responsible for arming Ukraine, albeit as a natural continuation of the Obama administration's policy towards it.

  3. Biden's an Obama/Clinton puppet whom they have now chosen to replace with.... drumroll, please.... ....another Obama/Clinton puppet.... Broadly though I agree, Trump still appears, and I stress only 'appears', to be the lesser of two evils here.

  4. Mention this to almost anyone and they say Russia is bluffing, it's a spent force and Putin, like Hitler, cannot be appeased. Supremely ignorant, complacent positions all of them, but what can we do when that seems to be the prevailing mindset?
