  1. Curate's egg this broadcast ie good in parts, but mostly, although not entirely, good I would say. For example, Stiglitz certainly ain't someone to be held up as exemplary.

  2. Putin's Russia certainly isn't bankrupt and it was never looking to re-establish its Soviet empire. Pure propaganda. It is still a great power and wants, nay expects, to have its immediate sphere of influence. Quite modest ambitions compared to the US to date in fact.
