Of course identity politics is being abused by BOTH parties in the US for their own selfish ends and to distract from the overall inequality that they BOTH benefit from and seek to sustain, but that is a different argument altogether from allowing endless unchecked mass immigration. Some commentators are equally disingenuously seeking to conflate these two different things arguably for their own ends.
