The United States today even has the same 'us vs them', 'zero sum game' attitude towards its own population. Its iniquitous healthcare system remains a shameful metaphor for that. If it can treat many of its own people like that then it's hardly a surprise that it can treat foreigners with the same level of contempt or worse.

The US, in the Middle East, now seems intent on overthrowing essentially secular regimes in favour of extremist religious ones!! Even going so far as to recently back an Al Qaeda offshoot in Syria. Kissinger said it best when he said, 'America has no permanent friends or enemies, only interests'. Damn straight.

So the US with its 750 plus military bases around the world is just a selfless benign actor? 'Jus' doin' ma job, ma'am'...spit.

Sure, but where do you actually take issue with what is being said?

The US economy today is around 26% of global GDP, around 16% by PPP and it accounts for a 60% share of global stock markets. That's an overextended financialised economy punching WAY above its economic weight right there.

That's a very strange comment. Even if these people were making bundles of cash for their troubles would that make them wrong to spread a message that is barely propagated in Western MSM? They might not be THE solution to THE problem, but by informing more and more people they are certainly part of it.

Taiwan is de jure part of China. Very few countries recognize Taiwan as a legal sovereign entity. Even the United States doesn't!! Further to that, there is no defense agreement between the US and Taiwan likely for this reason and nor does Taiwan have an official seat at the UN. It hasn't since 1971. Unfortunately for you these two 'idiots' know what they're talking about and you (and seemingly way too many in the sabre rattling US government) don't.

'Defending democratic Taiwan's sovereignty' is a useful if spurious narrative for the US instigating conflict with China just as it was with Ukraine. Most of the world, including both the US and UK incidentally, DOESN'T recognise Taiwan as a de jure sovereign country.
