  2. I'm assuming that Ireland's neutrality was suspect during WW2 given the troops it sent to fight with the British against Hitler. De Valera's own public views further complicate things I suspect . That said, so were both Sweden's and Spain's actual in practice neutrality. As was Lottaz' homeland Switzerland upon closer inspection. Like everything else I guess, even 'neutrality' is a movable feast?
