  1. It's weird how in the UK the Far Right, and I'm really talking about the self-identifying Far Right here, are increasingly identifying with Israel and Zionism essentially along racial lines. The UK government on the one hand is happy to state that Islamic and Far Right extremism are THE biggest threats to national security, but the latter's increasing association with Zionism seems to go largely unremarked upon in the mainstream. All incredibly schizophrenic and confusing.

  2. As ever, NATO was created after WW2 by America (years prior to the Warsaw Pact incidentally) to keep the US IN Europe, the Germans DOWN and the Russians OUT. Little has changed on that front.
