As Mussolini, Fascism's founding father, helpfully pointed out almost a century ago, fascism can be defined as when the interests of government and [big] business can barely be separated by a cigarette paper. Bingo. The US today has become, effectively, a crypto fascist state. Maybe those various fasces in the Capitol aren't just a coincidence?

  3. The Communist USSR collapsed over 10 years before the US invasion and subsequent 20 year occupation of Afghanistan. The Islamic extremist forces that the US population have long been taught to fear have very often been the by-product, either intentional or unintentional, of US interventions in these countries. From supporting and arming the mujahadeen in Afghanistan against the Soviets to Al Qaeda, to ISIS in Iraq even to Hamas in Gaza which was initially fostered by US proxy Israel in an attempt to split the secular PLO.

  4. America hasn't legally declared war since WW2. After, yet again, inventing a reason for its intervention into Vietnam the US eventually just pulled out, albeit hastily. It's 'a war' that never officially ended because it never officially started.
