  1. Whether $40m Americans are 'deplorable' as 'Chunk' claims or not it should make zero difference. The day they go out to vote, so the theory goes anyway, their vote is worth no more or less than anyone else's and that's the principle that underpins democracy. If you're tactic is to dehumanize and delegitimise those with whom you disagree then it seems pretty obvious who the deplorable ones are here.
