Only 7 of 35 original sentence. Subsequently commuted by Obama. Manning cut a deal, perhaps understandably and the state paid for their transition. Manning refuses to discuss Assange in any great depth now which does make me wonder if they'll play a role in his potential prosecution....

@CalebAchsah I think that's why the prosecutors' tack changed in 2019 because they knew that they'd struggle to get any espionage charge to stick on its own. JS is not an American citizen and simply published what he was provided with by whistleblower Manning so the charge then shifted to one presumably of manipulation and conspiracy between the pair to hack a Pentagon computer. JS had a history of hacking so it seemed like the best way they could get to him and implicate him directly in the illegal obtaining of the information.
