As soon as a commentator starts talking about Brexit in terms of pining for past imperial UK glories and then tries to shoehorn that into a discussion about Russia's invasion of Ukraine then they lose all credibility in my book. Thankfully the other fella, Dimitri, was a lot more interesting, credible and creditable.

I can foresee a time when women in British prisons, many of whom are likely themselves already highly vulnerable members of society, will take our government to legal task in the the future over this utterly criminal absurdity. I, for one, given the future evidence presented of course, will likely fully support them in their cause if they do.

  5. Owen, again, shows himself up here. Russia's importance can't just be measured by its GDP FFS. Nevermind that its debt to gdp ratio was a fraction of many countries in the west, particularly prior to covid, it also possesses around 45% of the world's nuclear weapons. Pathetic willy waving, quite frankly.
