Hennegan's point regarding Cummings' and Ferguson's breaking of lockdown 'rules' echoes a point I've made for years. My problem with 'Partygate' wasn't so much with the rule breaking itself, but more that ALL those people involved could not have for one second seriously have believed that they were being confronted with a deadly virus in order to behave that way. These people were ALL either directly or indirectly involved in enforcing arbitrary laws and rules on the entire country that they themselves didn't believe in and didn't think applied to them. A plague on all their houses, I say.

This enquiry is, effectively, an establishment circling its wagons and seeking to cover its tracks. It's yet more political pantomime for public consumption. It's not interested in finding the truth or learning lessons for future reference. Hence its tactic of playing of the man, in this instance Hennegan, not the ball.

Statistically, you're far more likely to die at home. Effectively co-erce masses of people to stay at home, as happened during the lockdowns, than would be normal then, by deduction, you're going to see way more deaths. Case closed😊

The world over, the ruling classes mantra has always been 'never let a good crisis go to waste'. True to form, 'the pandemic' was not 'wasted'.

And here we are today, almost in 2024, and the average age of a UK covid death remains stubbornly, much as it did during 'the pandemic's' height, at roughly the same as the age of an average death ie 81 years old. Utter madness, collective insanity, mass psychosis? Take your pick, basically.

The other vital element to bear in mind here is that millions of people off the back of this relentless climate of fear, rank government mismanagement and shameless political point scoring succumbed to a medical intervention that effectively ignored ALL pre-existing medical protocols to date. People, for good or ill, have permanently, irreversibly, many repeatedly 'invested' in this narrative so unpicking it, much less repudiating it comes with potentially far greater consequences than some yet realise.

You shouldn't be able as a minor who has yet to undergo puberty to have access, as a matter of course, to irreversible medical interventions designed to 'change' your gender. These are ONLY decisions that can and should be made, with incredibly rare medical exceptions, when you are sufficiently physiologically and psychologically mature to make them and are fully cogniscent of their long term consequences and thus can give your full, informed legal consent to them. NEVER before.

An honestly and independently brokered two state solution sufficiently amenable to both Jews and Palestinians is the only answer to this in the longer term....and that's assuming we eventually get beyond this horrific dangerous time. Decades have been squandered for a myriad of different reasons by all sides, including the West, but both Jews and Palestinians deserve to live in reasonable comfort, peace and security, if not harmony. Unfortunately we've arrived at a point where the extremist elements hold sway and, as ever, it's always the innocent who suffer.

How much public money was p*ssed away on barely used 'Nightingale hospitals'? Emergency hospitals constructed with apparently no trained staff to man them even if they had been needed!!
