The central problem and contradiction here facing all minorities and therefore us all is that some people want to constantly draw attention to what should be a small aspect of what makes them 'different', perhaps even demanding special dispensations because of it, whilst demanding that they be treated and viewed exactly the same as the majority at the exact same time. In short, it's an impossible circle to square.
