So a genuine proxy war rekindles another opportunity to reopen an enduring insoluble artistic war. Pink Floyd were always over rated IMHO, Waters or no - did some amazing stuff, but also plenty of forgettable rarely now played bloated dross - but there's little doubt that much of what Waters says is true regardless of his perhaps less than pure, questionable motives for saying it. Anti-Semitism is an unspeakable evil, a blight on mankind, but it is also an overplayed, scurrilous, cheap goto insult all too often thrown like a mindless chimp throwing sh*t at someone they happen to disagree with because there happens to be a tenuous Jewish connection somewhere along the line to be made.
