  3. Estonia, which is a EZ member has an inflation rate of over 23%. The UK's is currently just over 10%. Perhaps you're confused with the EZ's 'average' current August rate of 9.8%? Also, in terms of the GBP/EURO rate the GBP is up 6% over 5 years on the single currency.

  7. The 'French' talking heads were having a laugh there weren't they? Performative nonsense about the UK no longer being seen as an honest broker by the EU over the NIP. One only has to watch Brexit: Behind Closed Doors to see how straight a bat the EU was playing with over NI. Strange how that's been forgotten. BoJo agreed to the NIP in order to fulfill his 2019 manifesto pledge to 'Get Brexit done' having previously been hamstrung by the 'no to no deal' Benn Act. Any politician worth his salt would have had half an eye on Article 16 of that dreadful agreement - an agreement which completely subverts the allegedly sacrosanct 1988 GFA incidentally - as indeed it has undermined trade between NI and mainland GB and is stoking tensions through its over zealous implementation by an EU cheered on by the Irish.
