  1. This is a war that should never have happened. History isn't a morality play and there were ways and means to avoid it. Lots of people saw this coming. We are where we are because NATO and the US kept pushing Putin's Russia's buttons for over two decades, starting with Clinton. Go back and look. It's all there. Weaponising finance and the US Dollar was the next stage in this battle. It might all end gloriously of course. Ukraine might triumph and join Nato and the EU, the Russian army might see its morale plummet to zero, Putin might get assassinated by his own people who knows, but the key point here is that this was ALL still avoidable. People have died unnecessarily and people will suffer unnecessarily.
