  5. News has been commodified like everything else sadly. 'Havoc' and disagreement sells. Clicks, eyeballs, upvotes and downvotes are money in someone's bank somewhere. That's partly why this ridiculous trans issue has taken on a life of its own and Linehan is just another sacrifice to the gods.
