Aris is, of course, saying the long deemed to be unsayable here. Identity politics has long been a highly useful means for 'the elites'to divide and rule accentuating differences over common interests. This approach has also allowed for the unabated flow of low skilled illegal immigration to continue under the false premise of tolerance, decency and inclusivity. Absorbing huge numbers of people who look different and behave differently and then effectively dumping them in areas which are effectively already severely economically and socially compromised through policy and then telling those people to get on with it and, worse, demonizing them when they push back has been an act of supreme recklessness and a dereliction of duty by our political and economic masters.

The role of Western elite inspired wars and the inevitable destabilizing of those societies and displacement of their peoples cannot be entirely discounted hereeither. To some extent, 'we' are the authors of this sorry situation.

Let's make no bones about this, unchecked illegal immigration is principally a top down economic policy decided by an out of touch political and economic elite. An elite that will essentially only ever reap the handsome rewards of that decision and rarely, if ever, experience the downsides.

@BellBeakerBloke So they're not entering the country illegally under UK law?

Sinn Féin or 'We, ourselves' has always been the nationalist party of Ireland. Did it part company with its supporters once it gained power or did many of its supporters part company with it?

@Judithjoan22 What's interesting is this is what pretty much ALL these parties do once they become mainstream and gain power.

Going back to the race riots of the 1980s - many of which were based on genuine grievances particularly to do with policing and also had their occasional examples of heinous acts like PC Blakelock's murder - the establishment's response was to 'reach out' to community leaders in an attempt to address these grievances. Our government, politicians and MSM have all just set about roundly condemning these riots, demonizing their participants and 'magically' speeding up the sclerotic court system and finding cells in apparently unsustainably overcrowded jails. Further to this, they will doubtless also use it to provide the excuse for even more Draconian laws and extended state overreach. Two tier policing indeed.

There's no more such a thing as a 'white race' than there is such a thing as a 'black race', but this shouldn't be conflated with the issue of years of unchecked illegal immigration despite repeated promises by ALL our politicians to tackle the issue either.
