The point here being is that there were small 'd' democratic channels open to the DNC until last year and yet they arrogantly and, frankly, stupidly and selfishly given Biden's steadily blancmanging brain chose to reject them by opting not to have primaries and annoint Biden regardless Biden would have, presumably, have won any primary easily anyway at that time but it would have given Democrats at least a sense of who the competition might be should the worst happen. Well, entirely predictably, the worst did happen and Democrats for political and financial reasons are left with the long running joke that is Kamala Harris.
