  2. After listening to that it's not difficult to see why France and more particularly Germany have a serious problem with the idea of nationalism more generally.

  3. The European Project is, was and always will be a Franco-German hegemony - Germany being the more reluctant member of the dynamic duo - and it remains to be seen how the rest of its membership ultimately acquiesces to that fact.
