@lapun47 Hardly. We're talking about human beings in both cases. For the most part civilians and innocents and, in the case of Gaza, a vastly disproportionate number of women and children. Like I said. The former is dwarfed by the latter in terms of sheer humanity lost.

@lapun47 I would certainly agree with that, yes. One doesn't have to in any way shape or form condone what happened on October 7th in order to condemn the genocide by Israel in Gaza now. Two heinous acts, but the former dwarfed by the latter.

They've been widely accepted for years by international official bodies and countries. Hamas provide verifiable names and official ID numbers of those deceased ie they don't just pluck numbers out of thin air. Thus the death toll in Gaza is likely massively understated as these numbers are related to confirmed 'morgue' deaths not those still buried under rubble.

The babies and sexual violence stories are propaganda tactics as old as the hills. They are a classic technique designed to lay the ground for and provide justification for actions that might follow, however extreme or horrific.
