  2. Despite my left wing politics, this is one of the big reasons I sometimes despise 'the Left' or at least those who claim to be. The Right, at least, make no bones about what they're about, but the Left seems to think it can get away with pretending to be what it isn't or straddling two stools. Not only disingenuous in the extreme, but one of the reasons why essentially many of those from the virtue signalling Right feel comfortable by voting for these pseudo-left wing parties thereby acting as cuckoos in the left-wing nest. Hence these near universal 'uniparties'.
